It's a little embarrassing taking and posting selfies but I just wanted to document how tiny she was so I could look back and remember holding this teeny person all curled up on me.
So much love
Betty's first time on the beach - just went for a little walk and let the kids play a bit. It was pretty windy so Betty didn't really get much ocean air she was bundled up the whole time.
Pink loving girl!
Such a typical Elijah face. His hair is often self-styled this way due to his habit of pulling it up in front while sucking on his lower lip for comfort.
We had to say goodbye to my mom shortly after this. We have been so blessed to have her with us for each of our children's births and each time she has been such a wonderful help to us. We are glad to be able to share those memories and appreciate her love and support. This time especially we don't know what we would have done without her, with Ryan's concussion in addition to the birth. We live far away but are so glad that our children still get to have a good relationship and get to know my parents.
We also were so grateful to the wonderful people in our ward who helped us out and brought us meals during our recovery time. It was a big help and we so appreciated all the service given.
