After church on Sunday the kids went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a while and then uncle Johnny brought them to the hospital to meet baby Betty. They loved her right away - especially Cora. She fell right into her role as big sister all over again and has been very loving and protective towards her baby sister ever since.
Grandma and Grandpa also got to come and meet our little Betty that afternoon.
Since we had all been up all night, we decided to have both Mom and Ryan head home with the kids Sunday night and leave Betty and I in the hospital alone. Ryan needed to be able to actually rest and recover after his injury and Mom had been taking care of everyone and needed to get some rest herself, as well as help take care of Cora and Elijah. It was so nice to have a little bit of time alone with my new baby and know that Ryan and the other kids were being taken care.
