I finished sewing these new Mary Janes for Cora this morning after Cora woke up at 6:00 ready to play. I also made this matching flower for a headband but it turned out kind of huge for her head. I'm toying with the idea of making baby shoes to sell on EBay; we'll have to see if it turns out. Let me know what you think, and also what you would charge for shoes like this.
I don't know what I'd charge, but I'd recommend looking into selling them on Etsy. If you haven't heard of it, it's basically a hub where people have their own "shops" to sell all things homemade. These are so cute!! You could check on Etsy to see what people charge for similar shoes. Oh, and I don't mean to say don't do Ebay - I think if I were you I'd consider both as you start out! ReplyDeleteThanks stace! I actually have looked on Etsy for inspiration and ideas but I haven't looked into what it takes to be a seller, I guess I just said Ebay because I've used it before and know how it works. I'll definitely have to check into that.
